However, it is evident that Erica is a strong-willed, very thoughtful and kind girl who will firmly stand to her own opinions. This has led to her timid personality and low self-confidence. She also always worries inwardly over her exchanges with her clients and has no confidence in her job. She isn't confident in her own work as an Auto Memories Doll and is easily swayed by other opinions and takes criticism on her work seriously and to the heart. She also has freckles located on the bridge of her nose and a small mole underneath her lip.Įrica is a quiet girl who is usually seen in the backgrounds. She sports round, transparent glasses which she wears over her medium-colored amber eyes.

Her hairstyle somewhat resembles that of a longer bowl cut. She has short, straight light brown-honey colored hair which reaches down to her chin with straight bangs covering her forehead. After watching episode 1 I cannot but recommend this series and I hope I can say that when I complete the series.Erica is a young woman with a relatively short stature and thin eyebrows. This is a powerful cocktail of emotions and self-discovery. Her commanding officer, who she had some feelings for, was killed in the war. She covers these with gloves, so for the most part looks normal. The secondly trope is Violet has been badly injured in the last war, losing both arms and having them replaced with mechanical Adamantite steel arms and hands. The viewer will need to watch the series to discover all the answers, which makes for a compelling story line. We know she is an effective killing machine, but the story does not dwell on that aspect too much.

She is organic, but lacks a wide range of emotions. Violet is not a normal human, but we have no idea what she actually is. While common with many Japanese anime, the first episode starts the story arc presenting the viewers with a lot of mysteries and questions. I will go back to the Japanese version one day to check how accurate the translation is, but so far nothing in the first episode make no sense, so I suspect we have an example of excellent storytelling and good translation.

The animation is excellent as is the dialog, which considering it's a translation very impressive. After having been burned many times in the past with seemingly good anime's only to discover something which was barely watchable, I have to say this series is not one of them. I dithered for a long time before taking the plunge and watching this series.
